Project 365

I was hell bent on getting my list of things done today, and this was one of them. Almost made it. I thought I'd post them earlier but I got really tied up in a job that I thought would take an hour or two, ended up taking around 6 hours!
Didn't get my notebooks listed on etsy, but did get them photographed, and only other thing left on the list to do is to package up Ester's now very late b-day gift. Because I FORGOT again!

hotcoldhotcoldhotcoldhotcoldhotcold - again
Today I wake up to that familiar tapping noise, after a day of walking around in short sleeves. yes, more snow. The upside to this senerio, is that the snow usually doesn't last. I'm ready to get this crap over, and since it's 1/2 way through feb, we're only a couple weeks from *march*. I'm thinking we should go in like a lamb and out like a lamb too.
Yesterday I needed a big mental break - everyone was grumpy and I was about done hearing it, so I did a little bit of stimulating the economy. Hobby Lobby and Michaels. Oh and lucky me, Walmart. Yarn for crochet projects (I think I'm pretty much stocked up for like 2 months), binding for the upcycled notebooks sitting ready to be bound and listed on etsy, some scrapbook paper on sale 1/2 price - which I don't need, but seriously, it had glitter. who doesn't love glitter? I'm officially staying away from Michaels until those stupid $1 chipboard albums are out. They've sold a TON.... and some of them weren't even me.
Today: blog (check), finish amanda's gallery that I've needed to do pretty much the entire week, edit daddy/daughter dance, catch up on emails, list stuff on etsy. Busy day. None of it involves leaving the house... cept to the mailbox. bleh mailbox sucks.
Happy Friday!
Gonna try to post my 365 later!

hotcoldhotcoldhotcoldhotcoldhotcold
I woke this morning stumbled into the living room and noticed something was tapping loudly on my living room window. See, every night all the shades get shut, and so I went to the window to investigate and found this:

Wasn't I just walking around in the yard in my *bare feet* like, yesterday? Sigh.
Not a shocker. We always have to have that one short warm snap in Feb. I think it shocks the world into reminding us that it's not that much longer!
Worked today on some photos, and getting a gallery ready for an engagement. Almost done with that. Finished designing a cute save the date postcard last night.
Also messed briefly with the etsy store. I have quite a few items in it now. Playing with my binding machine, and upcycling some packaging into notebooks and journals. It's kinda addictive. Gene wants to find some things he can make/work on in the evening just for something to do to add a few bucks onto the bottom line, so that might become his deal if they sell ok.
Off to work on a guestbook sample!

sunset-schmuset - how about a moonrise?

Got a call from gene as he was on his way home last night. From his vantage point, he could see a bright red moon rising. From my vantange point, I could only see a red glow. So I watched as the moon rose from behind the hills mile from here and captured the above shot. Woulda been better if I hadn't handheld it!
Stuff to do today:
- Dishes
- put away laundry
- finish up editing an engagement session
- price some prints
- edit pics from DD dance
- crochet some on Gene's Vday gift
- Watch American Idol
- File paperwork. Srsly, tons of paper around here
Eat!
No lunch yet and i'm starving
