Feeling a little froggy?

Yesterday sucked.

There's just no eloquent way to say that any better than Suck. Maybe "sucktacular". Or possibly "suck to the nth degree" but the bottom line is, the cell phone guy wasn't very excited to see me come through the door with a broken phone.

Did I mention the phone is like 5 days old and still had the plastic on it?

His first error was telling me that it would probably be considered wear and tear. Needless to say, we have a new cell phone, with new plastic, at no charge.

That wasn't the suckiest part tho. My older computer has been giving me fits for about a month and I'm trying to wean myself away from it so I haven't gotten it fixed. Oh, there's a few things on there I'd like to have, and I CAN get to them if I do it within the first 15 minutes of turning the computer on, but for the most part, that computer has big X's for eyes and is now a paperweight.

Yesterday, tho, I had cash in hand, and had the computer repair store here in town not gone out of business I would have paid him pretty much anything he wanted to get my gallery software up and running. It's old too, but it was so simple it was practically sinful. So I spent a great deal of the day, trying to track down a new way to build a gallery. I think I watermarked the same photos a good 3-4 times.

I only cried once.

The upside is, I think I might be making over minimum wage now.
**Mexican minimum wage. LOL

Then there was the fact that I had several people up in my grill yesterday. Probably not exactly the best day for them to do that.


In the end, I got everything done I needed to. Now to be honest, it was 1 a.m., but it was done, and the day was over and I could rest... finally.

Isn't that toad-ally awesome?

*** No frogs or toads were harmed in the creation of this post. In fact, the above frog was just hanging out on the hood of my car one night a couple weeks ago. The toad, Tanner found and we took a few piccies - nearly in the dark.

That's my excuse why it's so crappy anyway.
