I think... I can't be sure because I've been wrong before, but I THINK, Spring is close. I offer you proof. Photo above by Tanner of a robin in our tree in the front yard, complete with buds on the tree. Don't forget that our driveway looks like bog country and the seed catalogs are coming in the mail.
We're kind of at the point where for every snowy day we have, we get 5 or 6 nice days, and I'm not going to complain about that. I will however reserve the "right" to have at least one (or 7) more killer snow storm.
We are in *Missouri* after all. Don't like the weather? wait 10 min.
In other spring news, I've been itching to get outside and shoot something besides chickens, snow and chickens in the snow. I have been hemming and hawing about a new camera vs new lenses, and decided the other day, I'm gonna do both! (BTW, I have a gently used 30d for sale if you're interested! Yes really). I picked up a new lens that's a major workhorse in the "industry" and I hope it really gives my photos a major "oomph". (135mm F2L USM) Also ready to practice a little off camera flash with a nifty little gadget I got (transmitter and receiver).
BTW, did I mention I just got amazon prime? Free 2nd day air shipping.
Oh, and Amazon is my favorite store.
This is NOT GOOD NEWS.
Someone take my debit card.
please.

"justify is not just a pretty word to describe work related tax deductions..."
Congrats on the new camera. Happy news about the robin. I always feel sorry for them when they are covered in snow.

Oh, it's almost here. I heard birds SINGING the other day. It gave me hope!
Pretty picture - yesterday it was really warm in the 80's - today the rain clouds came in.. and now it's cold...
Love to you
